Draft Commission Delegated Regulation amending the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of substances that may be added to infant and follow-on formula, baby food and processed cereal-based food
 
On August 31st, the European Commission revised the list of substances that can be added to infant and follow-up formula milk powder, infant food and processed cereal food. The draft involves authorizing the addition of L- methyl calcium folate as the source of folic acid in infant and follow-up formula food, processed cereal food and infant food, which conforms to the relevant scientific opinions of the European Food Safety Administration (EFSA).



        8月31日,欧盟委员会修订可添加到婴儿及后续配方奶粉、婴儿食品和加工谷物食品中的物质清单,该草案涉及授权添加L-甲基叶酸钙作为婴儿和后续配方食品,加工谷物类食品和婴儿食品中叶酸的来源,符合欧洲食品安全局(EFSA)的相关科学意见。
